Conference Notes for Session 3

On Friday night, September 26, 2014, Joyce Meyer spoke again.

Her title for this message is: We Can Do It!

Matthew 11:12 (AMP) And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [ as a precious prize – a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].

Ardent zeal and intense exertion – nothing passive

“The kingdom of God suffers violenceViolence – attack

“the violent take it by force” Violent – energetic, confident, bold, courageous

>Are you prepared to stand your ground and live out what you believe if times get tougher???

-The believers in the early days had the hope of eternal life

Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

Reign as kings in life

Luke 10:19 (AMP) Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

We have power and authority

“physical and mental strength and ability over the power of the enemy”

-The more experience you have with God the more you trust Him and the less the fear matters.

>>My “we” is Father, Son, Holy Ghost, and me!

-Get over the fear of man.

-The things we go through make us stronger.

The whole army of Isreal backed down from Goliath because of fear.

-This earth will never 100% satisfy us.

-Pray BOLDER prayers!

-God wants to take care of everybody.

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

-Grace – self-sufficient in God’s sufficiency

The fear of being hurt and being taken advantage of leads to the sin of self-protection.

-Get rid of that excuse

-If I don’t take care of me and my reputation then God will.

1 Peter 2:23 (AMP) When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but He trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.

He trusted himself and everything to Him who judges fairly.

>If God can’t give it to you, you don’t have any business with it.

>God wants to be our walls of protection

Be vulnerable – you might get hurt but you will recover.
